Responsible for maintaining and improving all tooling jigs, fixtures, composite tooling, and CNC fixtures in line with production and customer requirements to support business objectives.
Understanding of composite materials (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass)
Understanding of metal types (aluminium, titanium, steel).
Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometres, callipers and height gauges.
Ability to evaluate and repair composite tooling defects.
Ability to read customer drawings, drawings, procedures and technical documents.
Set up and operate of metal working machine tools such as saws, drills, lathes, vertical milling, belt & disk sanders, grinders and welding equipment.
Experience of working to tight production targets .
