Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards Director to lead the design and delivery of reward strategies that attract and retain talent, support business priorities and drive organisational performance.
This role oversees compensation, benefits, incentives, executive rewards and equity programmes across multiple markets. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution, you will partner with HR, Finance and business leaders to deliver competitive, equitable and sustainable reward programmes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive reward strategy covering compensation, benefits, incentives and equity.
- Define market positioning and reward principles that balance talent competitiveness, internal equity and financial sustainability.
- Lead and develop a high-performing rewards team, strengthening technical expertise, analytical capability and delivery.
- Oversee annual compensation reviews, incentive payouts and equity cycles, including budgeting, governance and implementation.
- Design and enhance salary structures, job frameworks, incentive plans and benefits programmes.
- Lead major reward initiatives from design through implementation, including stakeholder alignment, communication and change management.
- Develop executive compensation and equity programmes, supporting remuneration committee discussions where applicable.
- Partner with HR and business leaders on international mobility and cross-border reward arrangements.
- Work closely with Finance on workforce costs, reward investments and long-term planning.
- Establish policies, controls and decision frameworks that support consistent reward practices and compliance across relevant markets.
- Use market data and workforce analytics to inform reward decisions and evaluate programme effectiveness.
- Drive automation and responsible adoption of AI to improve reward planning, analysis and operational efficiency.
- Present clear, actionable recommendations on complex reward matters to senior leadership and governance bodies.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of progressive rewards experience, including leadership of a rewards function and management of experienced professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Deep expertise across compensation, benefits, incentives, executive compensation and equity programmes.
- Proven ability to develop strategy and deliver complex initiatives through teams and cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience managing reward programmes across multiple markets, with a strong understanding of regional regulatory and governance requirements.
- Strong commercial judgment and understanding of financial planning, workforce costs and business strategy.
- Excellent analytical, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading reward transformation, implementing technology and applying advanced analytics or AI is preferred.
