The Job Summary
The Total Rewards Manager leads payroll operations and supports the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs. The role is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, payroll controls are strong, and total rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and clearly communicated. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, discreet with sensitive information, and comfortable partnering across HR, Finance, Legal, and external providers.
Key Performance Indicators / Measures:
Payroll accuracy and on-time payment rate. Compliance with statutory, labor, and internal policy requirements (zero critical audit findings). Turnaround time on compensation and benefits queries and issue resolution. Timeliness and quality of payroll, compensation, and benefits reporting. Successful and on-time delivery of the annual compensation review and benefits renewal cycles.
Technical / Job-Specific Competencies

- Payroll OperationsManage end-to-end payroll processing, including monthly payroll inputs, approvals, reconciliations, statutory deductions, and final settlements. Maintain payroll calendars, controls, audit trails, and documentation for payroll-related processes.

The Job Profile

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Certifications
Certification in Compensation & Benefits or Payroll (e.g., CCP, GRP, CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.

Experience
Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in payroll and total rewards, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity.

Essential Job Pre-Requisites
- Strong hands-on experience with payroll processing and controls, compensation structures, and benefits administration. Working knowledge of Saudi labor law, GOSI, and statutory payroll requirements. Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, and strong analytical/Excel skills.

Languages Proficiency
English and Arabic (preferred to be fluent in both languages).
