Job Summary

The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration and continuous improvement of the company's compensation and benefits programs to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and alignment with the organization's business objectives.

The position supports salary analysis, compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, salary structures, and Total Rewards reporting while working closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and other relevant functions to ensure accurate and effective compensation and benefits practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and implementation of compensation and benefits programs in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Conduct salary analysis and market benchmarking to assess internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and review of salary structures, grades, and salary ranges.
  • Assist with annual salary reviews, merit increases, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare Total Rewards reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, allowances, and other Total Rewards programs.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, HR Operations, and other relevant functions to ensure accurate and timely compensation and benefits processes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee compensation and benefits data and records.
  • Support compensation and benefits budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct analysis of compensation trends, employee pay data, and market information to support management decision-making.
  • Support job evaluation and job grading activities and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating Total Rewards policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of salary surveys and external compensation market data.
  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices are aligned with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
  • Respond to compensation and benefits inquiries and provide appropriate support to employees and HR stakeholders.
  • Support Total Rewards projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and data accuracy when handling sensitive employee compensation information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
  • Additional qualifications or certifications in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Human Resources, or HR Analytics are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret compensation data.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRMS, payroll systems, HR analytics, and reporting tools is preferred.
  • High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and data accuracy.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Compensation, HR Operations, or a related HR function.
  • Experience in salary analysis, market benchmarking, salary structures, and compensation administration.
  • Experience supporting employee benefits and allowances administration.
  • Experience working with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, HRMS, payroll systems, and HR reporting tools.
  • Experience with job evaluation, job grading, or compensation surveys is preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze compensation data, prepare reports, and support Total Rewards decision-making.
