Role Description The Tourism Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and delivery of tourism services, including guided tours, excursions, and activities tailored to diverse traveler needs. The Tourism Manager will manage relationships with local guides, suppliers, and partners, ensuring high service standards and consistent quality across all offerings. Daily responsibilities include monitoring tour operations, resolving customer issues, optimizing itineraries, and aligning services with the company's digital platform. The role also involves contributing to tourism marketing initiatives, analyzing guest feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance overall traveler satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Tourism Management and Tourism, with the ability to oversee end-to-end travel operations and experience design.
- Experience in Guided Tours, including planning, organizing, and supervising excursions and activities with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a track record of handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high traveler satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Tourism Marketing, including promoting experiences, collaborating with digital teams, and supporting brand visibility in the tourism sector.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic and other languages is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tours and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital booking platforms and basic data analysis to monitor performance and improve services.
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate effectively with local guides and partners, and adapt to a fast-paced tourism environment.
