Trade Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, Bills of Exchange, and related banking transactions
• Coordinate with banks, customers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth and timely processing of trade finance documentation
• Review and ensure trade documents comply with international trade standards and banking requirements
• Monitor payment transactions, perform reconciliations, and investigate any discrepancies
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including commercial, procurement, and logistics teams, to support shipment and payment timelines
• Prepare trade finance reports, monitor banking facilities, and assist in cash flow and funding forecasts
• Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate documentation and records
• Keep abreast of changes in trade finance regulations, banking practices, and international trade compliance

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• At least 3–5 years of experience in trade finance or banking operations, preferably within commodities, metals, or international trading environment
• Good understanding of trade finance practices, including UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, and SWIFT transaction
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skill
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadline
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with both internal teams and external business partners
