Salary: AED 19,500 + VISA + Medical Insurance
Length of Contract- 1 Year
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain shipment documentation and conduct regulatory checks.
- Monitor shipment movement and customs clearance to ensure it is in compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Work with Supply Chain team to obtain details of any Excess/Shortage of inventory in each shipment, report variance for corrective action.
- Follow-up with Customs Broker and Authorities on critical, stuck or problematic shipments and provide updates/resolutions to internal stakeholders
- Attend to Inspections, audit visits, queries and requests from government authorities.
- Audit Shipment information with Gate Passes processed for Free Trade Zone to UAE Mainland movement.
- Work with stakeholders and authorities for Waste Disposal / Recycling products.
- Knowledge of HTS Classification.
- Obtain periodic reports from Customs Broker for audits. Archive shipment documents
- Experienced with Dubai Trade (Dubai Customs) portal.
- Should have Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs and Free Zone Authority Rules, Regulations and Requirements.
- Preferred Customs Brokerage, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience of a minimum of 5 Years
