Position Summary & Main Purpose

The role focuses on supporting the Trade Marketing team in the creation, coordination, and management of Retail and Travel Retail activations. This includes assisting with the development of marketing materials, managing execution timelines, and ensuring smooth collaboration between internal teams and external partners. The position is key to delivering best-in-class visibility, merchandising, and consumer engagement across key markets.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Activation & Visibility

Participate to development and implementation of annual activation plans and A&P budgets for Retail and Travel Retail channels.

Design and execute impactful in-store visibility, merchandising, and promotional campaigns.

Assist in creating and adapting toolkits, POS materials, and visibility assets for retail and travel retail environments.

Collaborate with external agencies for production of localized materials and bespoke visibility solutions.

Ensure compliance with brand guidelines across all activations.

Promotions & Consumer Engagement

Support planning and implementation of in-store promotions, sampling programs, and seasonal campaigns. Track timelines and ensure smooth execution of activation plans.

Innovate at point-of-sale to enhance shopper experience and conversion.

Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for differentiation.

A&P Management

Assist in managing A&P budgets and updating reports in compliance with company guidelines.

Track ROI and recommend course corrections for improved efficiency.

Insights & Reporting

Conduct store checks and gather insights on consumer behavior and competitor visibility.

Provide monthly reports on activation performance, KPIs, and ROI.

Share trends and feedback to optimize future strategies.

Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Brand, and Distributor teams to align activation plans with commercial objectives.

Maintain strong communication with retail accounts and travel retail operators for execution support.

Coordinate with global and regional teams to localize brand plans for the channel.

Scope: Middle East (domestic & Duty Free), All brands

Profile Requirements

University degree in Marketing or related field.

12 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in Retail or Travel Retail within the Wine & Spirits or Luxury industry.

Strong understanding of retail operations and shopper marketing.

Experience managing agencies and promotional activities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; strong English skills (written/spoken).
