Trade Operations / Trade Support Specialist (China Market)

Position Summary

Company is hiring a Trade Operations / Trade Support Specialist based in Dubai to support trading activities with a primary focus on the Chinese market. The role is operational in nature and covers trade execution support, documentation, traffic coordination, and banking instruments, including Letters of Credit (LC).

Key Responsibilities

- Operational support of international trade transactions with a focus on China

- Full cycle trade documentation management (contracts, invoices, packing lists, BL, COO, etc.)

- Handling and administration of Letters of Credit (LC): opening, amendments, document preparation, and compliance

- Coordination with banks, counterparties, suppliers, and logistics providers

- Monitoring shipment schedules, traffic flows, and delivery timelines

- Supporting settlements, reconciliations, and post-trade documentation

- Ensuring compliance with trade terms, Incoterms, and internal procedures

- Maintaining accurate operational and trade records

Requirements

- 25 years of experience in trade operations, trade finance, or trade support

- Proven hands-on experience with Letters of Credit (LC) mandatory

- Strong understanding of international trade operations and documentation

- In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market and counterparties

- Chinese language (Mandarin) is a strong advantage

- Fluent English (written and spoken)

- Experience working with banks and trade finance instruments

- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple transactions

- Ability to work from the Dubai office on a full-time basis
