Senior Specialist, Trading Operations – (Naphtha/LPG)
We are seeking to hire a Senior Specialist, Trading Operations with experience across Naphtha or LPG. This profile will be responsible for providing end-to-end commercial, logistical and operational support for the Naphtha/LPG trading portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of physical Naphtha and LPG transactions, ensuring contractual compliance and operational excellence.
- Coordinate cargo movements, vessel operations, storage, inventory and blending activities to support trading strategies.
- Protect and optimize trading P&L through effective logistics, asset utilization and cost management.
- Manage product quality, specifications and operational risks throughout the supply chain.
- Act as the key liaison between traders, counterparties, shipping providers, terminals and service vendors.
- Support settlements, claims, demurrage, inventory reconciliation and operational reporting.
- Ensure accurate system updates and compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and company policies.
Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience within commodities trading, energy trading or oil & gas trading environments.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct Trading Operations experience supporting Naphtha, LPG, Light Ends or Refined Products trading activities.
- Proven experience managing complex physical cargo movements, storage operations and international supply chains.
- Experience supporting traders and managing operational exposure within a global trading environment.
- Exposure to Middle East, Asia and international Light Ends markets is preferred.
