Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Trading Protocol Developer (FIX, ITCH, OUCH) located in Kuwait. The developer will design, implement, and maintain trading protocol solutions while collaborating with clients and internal teams to meet system specifications. Responsibilities include debugging, testing, refining, and implementing protocol messaging interfaces, analyzing data flows, and optimizing performance of trading systems. Furthermore, the role requires documentation of development processes and providing ongoing maintenance and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in trading communication protocols such as FIX, ITCH, and OUCH
• Strong skills in programming and software development, particularly in languages like , Java,

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong Core Java (multithreading, concurrency, NIO)
• Proven hands-on implementation experience in:
• FIX
• ITCH
• OUCH
• SOUPBINTCP
• SOUP protocols
• Experience handling high message volumes / low latency systems
• Exchange connectivity / Order routing system experience
• Background in trading / capital markets / HFT environments
