China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is hiring a Traffic Engineer (Traffic Management & Diversions) with strong experience in traffic management, diversion planning, and temporary traffic systems to support infrastructure projects across tender and execution stages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare traffic diversion schemes and staging plans for tender submissions
- Propose practical and optimized traffic solutions aligned with construction methodology
- Develop and obtain approvals for Traffic Diversion Plans from Roads and Transport Authority and relevant authorities
- Design temporary traffic systems, including gantries, signage, and road safety layouts
- Coordinate with design, construction, and planning teams to ensure constructability
- Monitor site implementation and adjust diversion schemes based on actual conditions
- Manage NOC submissions and authority coordination throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in UAE infrastructure projects
- Proven experience with RTA traffic diversion approvals
- Strong knowledge of RTA standards and traffic control requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with traffic analysis tools such as PTV Vissim or SIDRA Intersection is preferred
- Valid UAE driving license
Preferred:
- Experience in bridges, roads, and utilities projects
- Track record of approved diversion schemes with RTA
- Immediate or short notice preferred with must have UAE experiences
