Meraki Group is seeking a motivated
Trainee Engineer - Electrical to join our ambitious team. This role is tailored for recent graduates or individuals with minimal experience who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry. As a Trainee Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced engineers and contribute to various electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Participate in site visits to observe and understand electrical installations and project requirements
- Support the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings
- Help in the review of electrical shop drawings and material submittals
- Contribute to troubleshooting and the resolution of electrical issues encountered on-site
- Engage in team meetings and collaborate throughout various phases of electrical projects
- Continuously develop knowledge of industry standards and electrical engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 0-1 year of experience in the electrical engineering field (internships and co-op experience included)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or other design tools is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and a keen willingness to learn
