Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Business Development Engineer to support our sales and business growth initiatives. The trainee will work closely with the business development and technical teams to identify new business opportunities, engage with potential clients, and gain hands-on experience in sales, market research, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and technical-commercial documents
  • Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams to understand products and solutions
  • Participate in client meetings, calls, and product demonstrations under guidance
  • Maintain and update customer and lead data in CRM systems
  • Follow up with leads and support the sales cycle from initial contact to closure
  • Prepare regular reports on leads, opportunities, and sales activities
  • Learn and adhere to company sales processes and business development strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / or related field) or Management with technical exposure
  • Strong interest in business development, sales, and customer engagement
  • Basic understanding of sales concepts and business processes (preferred)
