Job Description

Training Manager

Responsibilities:

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies and assesses the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with Managers.
  • Develops individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs thru the SLFE USUS Program.
  • Develops training policies and procedures.
  • Implements effective and purposeful training methods.
  • Manages the training budget effectively.
  • Evaluates organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving employee's performance.
  • Assesses employees skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
  • Drives brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
  • Communicates effectively with discipline managers, trainees, trainers and management.
  • Creates a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization's goals.
  • Selects and manages resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
  • Manages the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
  • Keeps abreast of training trends, developments and best practices.
  • Reviews Aramco bi-annual training report.
  • Reviews periodical Saudization report submitted to management.
  • Implements Training KPI's.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the HR Director or SLFE Management, if required.

AUTHORITY/LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides guidance to co-workers.
  • Proposes staffing solutions and training and development opportunities.
  • Supervises work of subordinates within a large work unit.
  • Provides input into salary recommendations, performance evaluations and other Human Resources activities.
  • Approve timesheets.

Requirements:

  • BS Education, HR or related field and at least 15 years of significant experience.
  • Professional certification, such as CPTM (Certified Professional in Training Management), is preferred.
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices.
  • A proven track record of training program development and management.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent English and Arabic written and oral communication skills.
  • Saudi national.
