Job Description
Contract Type: Consultancy

Consultancy End Date: 31/12/2025

Project Background
The Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) operated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), in collaboration with UNFPA and Etijah Youth and Development Consultancy Institute, provide critical services to women and girls including psychosocial support, case management, and awareness-raising. Because WGSS service providers work daily with vulnerable individuals who may be experiencing distress, crisis, or trauma, strengthening their capacity is essential to ensure safe, ethical, and effective frontline support.
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an internationally recognized framework enabling frontline workers to provide immediate, humane, and practical support without causing harm. In parallel, effective communication and teamwork are crucial components for ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong coordination, and a healthy work environment inside WGSS facilities.
This training is jointly designed and implemented by Etijah, UNFPA, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the aim of enhancing the skills and readiness of WGSS staff across three governorate clusters.
