Job Description

Job Title: Training Sites Support /Team Services Coordinator
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ( Candidates based in Jeddah only will be considered)
Contract Duration: April 2026 - May 2026 (2 months contract)


Role Overview
The Training Sites Coordinator supports the preparation and day-to-day operations of official training venues for a major international football tournament scheduled in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that training facilities are safe, organised, and fully operational to meet team requirements and tournament standards.


Working closely with the Training Sites Supervisor and venue operations teams, the coordinator will support venue readiness, operational coordination, and on-site training activities.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in the preparation and implementation of training site operational plans and daily activities.
Support the Training Sites Supervisor in ensuring all training venues are ready for team sessions.


Venue Preparation & Setup


Assist in setting up training equipment, signage, accreditation control points, hydration stations, and technical areas.
Support preparation of changing rooms, recovery areas, and team spaces prior to each training session.
Ensure all training venue facilities are clean, organised, and operational.


Pitch & Facility Support


Coordinate with grounds staff regarding pitch access and protection of the playing surface.
Ensure training equipment (goals, cones, markers, etc.) is available, clean, and properly arranged.
Report any maintenance, safety, or facility issues immediately to the Training Sites Supervisor.


Training Operations Support


Assist with team arrivals and departures in coordination with Team Liaison Officers (TLOs).
Help maintain controlled access to training areas, ensuring only authorised personnel enter operational zones.
Support implementation of operational protocols for media, security, and restricted areas.
Maintain communication with the Training Sites Supervisor and venue operations teams regarding updates or incidents.


Coordination & Logistics


Liaise with volunteers, security, transportation, catering, and cleaning teams as required.
Assist with distribution of water, ice, and other team requirements.
Support logistics tasks including equipment movement, deliveries, and inventory checks.


Documentation & Reporting


Assist with daily reports, equipment logs, and issue tracking.
Prepare basic documentation and updates for the Training Sites Supervisor.
Ensure completion of assigned operational tasks and report any outstanding requirements.


Qualifications & Experience


1-2 years of experience in sports events, venue operations, event management, facility support, or a related field.
Previous involvement in football or major sporting events is considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of venue or training site operations is desirable.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced event environment.
Reliable, proactive, and capable of following operational procedures.
Service-oriented mindset with flexibility to support operational needs.


Additional Requirements


Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Willingness to travel locally between training venues in Jeddah.
Arabic language skills preferred.
