Transact Expert

Role: Trasact expert- T24

Location: Dubai

Minimum exp required: 10+yrs

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries, scripts, procedures, and reporting datasets across banking applications.
• Handle business, operational, management, regulatory, and ad hoc data/reporting requests.
• Analyse and troubleshoot complex data discrepancies, report failures, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Provide functional and technical support for Temenos Transact and associated banking applications.
• Understand data structures, business processes, and transaction flows across Transact modules.
• Work closely with business users, operations, IT teams, application teams, and vendors to investigate and resolve reporting and data-related issues.
• Translate business requirements into accurate SQL logic and reporting solutions.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation across source systems and reports.
• Support critical reporting requirements under strict timelines and production pressure.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and permanent resolution of recurring reporting and data issues.
• Support existing SSRS and Power BI reporting solutions. Training can be provided where required.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

The three most critical requirements for this role are:

1. Temenos Transact Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Temenos Transact / T24 Core Banking, including Retail Lending and preferably exposure across multiple Transact modules and banking products.

2. Advanced SQL & Oracle Expertise: Excellent hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, performance tuning, data extraction, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

3. Banking Domain Knowledge and support project experiance: Strong understanding of banking products, processes, transactions, data structures, and reporting requirements, particularly within retail banking and lending.

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of overall experience, preferably within banking technology, MIS, reporting, data analytics, or core banking support.
• Significant hands-on experience working with Temenos Transact/T24.
• Strong experience supporting banking MIS, reporting, data extraction, and production environments.
• Prior experience working in the GCC/Gulf banking environment is highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with demanding business stakeholders and handling critical/urgent requirements.
