Arabic Freelance Audio Transcription & Annotation Specialists
We are recruiting experienced language professionals for a multilingual AI data project. This is a remote, freelance, project-based opportunity.
Availability: min 10 hours a week
Project duration: Long term
Compensation: $20 per hour
The work may include:
- Transcribing audio recordings from scratch
- Reviewing and correcting machine-generated transcripts
- Segmenting audio and identifying speakers
- Adding timestamps and labeling pauses, fillers, overlapping speech, background noise, and other audio events
- Following detailed project guidelines and meeting quality targets
We're looking for:
- C1–C2 proficiency and idiomatic fluency in Arabic, with excellent comprehension of contemporary spoken language and a strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, regional varieties, and colloquial expressions
- Good working proficiency in English, sufficient to understand project guidelines, training materials, and written feedback
- Previous experience in transcription, subtitling, speech annotation, linguistic data annotation, or similar language work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply detailed guidelines consistently
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and headphones
