Job Description

Typical Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Preferred: Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CTA) or relevant master's degree.
  • 68 years of specialised transfer pricing experience within a professional services or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Action 13, and Saudi ZATCA compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading engagements and managing client relationships.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Technical & Analytical

  • Leads full transfer pricing engagements including functional analyses, economic analyses, benchmarking, TP documentation, and policy development.
  • Reviews and signs off on benchmarking and economic analyses prepared by junior team members.
  • Oversees TP documentation for Masterfile, Local file, and Country-by-Country Reporting support.
  • Advises on TP planning opportunities, value chain analysis, and dispute resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance on KSA and GCC tax regulations and their interaction with TP.

Client Delivery & Project Leadership

  • Acts as primary client contact, managing communication, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Leads multi-jurisdictional TP projects, coordinating with international offices.
  • Manages large and complex engagements ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Drafts and reviews proposals, reports, technical memoranda, and client presentations.

Risk & Quality

  • Ensures all engagements comply with firm risk protocols and ZATCA regulatory expectations.
  • Identifies risk issues early and escalates where appropriate.
  • Ensures robust documentation across all engagements.

Team Management & Internal Responsibilities

  • Supervises, mentors, and develops junior team members including Consultants and Associates.
  • Conducts performance feedback discussions and contributes to team capability building.
  • Oversees economics of engagements including WIP, billing, collections, and engagement closure.
  • Supports business development initiatives including thought leadership and proposal development.
