Job Summary

KPMG Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated Transfer Pricing Associate Manager / Assistant Manager to join our growing Tax Advisory team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will support the delivery and management of transfer pricing engagements, provide technical advisory services, and contribute to maintaining strong client relationships across a range of industries.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, Saudi ZATCA regulations, along with the ability to manage projects, mentor junior team members, and deliver high-quality advisory services to multinational and local clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Analytical

  • Lead transfer pricing engagements including functional analyses, economic analyses, benchmarking studies, documentation, and policy development.
  • Review benchmarking analyses and economic models prepared by junior team members.
  • Oversee the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation including Master File, Local File, and Country-by-Country Reporting support.
  • Provide advisory services on transfer pricing planning, value chain analysis, and dispute resolution.
  • Offer technical guidance on Saudi and GCC tax regulations and their interaction with transfer pricing frameworks.

Client Delivery & Project Leadership

  • Act as a primary client contact, managing communication, timelines, and expectations.
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional transfer pricing projects, coordinating with KPMG international offices where required.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across complex engagements and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Draft and review proposals, reports, technical memoranda, and client presentations.

Risk & Quality

  • Ensure all engagements comply with KPMG risk management protocols and ZATCA regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and escalate potential risk issues early during engagements.
  • Maintain strong documentation standards across all projects.

Team Management & Internal Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members including Consultants and Associates.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to team capability development.
  • Monitor engagement economics including WIP, billing, collections, and engagement closure.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and thought leadership activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CTA, or a relevant master's degree is preferred.
  • 6–8 years of specialised experience in Transfer Pricing, preferably within a Big Four firm, professional services firm, or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Action 13, and Saudi ZATCA regulations.
  • Experience leading engagements and managing client relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
