Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transfer Pricing Manager with specialised expertise in financial transactions, to join a dynamic transfer pricing practice in Riyadh. This role will involve advising local and multinational clients on transfer pricing matters, particularly those involving complex financial transactions, while ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia's tax regulations and global guidelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing Compliance & Advisory
- Provide advisory and compliance services on transfer pricing matters in line with Saudi Arabian and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., OECD guidelines).
- Lead the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, including local files, master files, and benchmarking analyses for financial transactions, such as intercompany loans, guarantees, and cash pooling.
- Support clients during audits and resolve transfer pricing disputes with tax authorities.
Financial Transactions Expertise
- Advise on the pricing of related-party financial arrangements, including funding structures, guarantees, treasury functions, and other financial instruments.
- Perform benchmarking analyses to ensure compliance with arm's-length principles for financial transactions.
Client & Project Management
- Manage multiple engagements, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their specific transfer pricing needs.
Leadership & Team Contribution
- Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering technical growth and professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-border projects to deliver client-focused outcomes.
Knowledge Development
- Stay updated on global and local developments in transfer pricing regulations and their practical implications for financial transactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification or certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA) is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of transfer pricing, including significant exposure to financial transactions.
- GCC region experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS actions, and Saudi tax regulations.
- Expertise in structuring and pricing intercompany financial arrangements.
- Experience conducting benchmarking using tools.
