Job Description

Power International Holding is seeking an experienced Transformation Assurance Manager to strengthen oversight of group-wide transformation initiatives, ensuring milestones are supported by evidence, business readiness is assessed effectively, and expected benefits remain on track.

This is an assurance-focused role, not a delivery role. You will independently assess the progress and readiness of assigned initiatives, identify risks early, challenge reported status where necessary, and provide clear, evidence-based insights to senior leadership. You will typically oversee four to five transformation initiatives within a group-wide programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate milestones and deliverables against supporting evidence, ensuring reported progress reflects actual achievement.
  • Monitor dependencies across transformation initiatives and identify risks that could affect programme outcomes.
  • Assess business readiness across people, processes, systems, and data.
  • Track expected benefits, identify deviations from planned outcomes, and escalate concerns early.
  • Challenge initiative owners and programme leads constructively, using evidence to support findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare assurance reports and management packs, contribute to transformation forums, and maintain consistent, governed status reporting.
  • Use dashboards and governed data to monitor progress, identify emerging risks, and support informed decision-making.
  • Apply AI-assisted tools to strengthen evidence tracking, analyse issues, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of assurance activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in programme management, PMO, transformation, or assurance, with direct responsibility for delivering or assuring complex change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of stage-gate reviews, milestone tracking, benefits realisation, and business readiness assessments.
  • Working knowledge of change management, PMO practices, and business adoption.
  • Proven ability to assess transformation progress independently, identify gaps, and challenge reported status with supporting evidence.
  • Experience explaining a transformation initiative personally delivered or assured, including the challenges raised and the resulting improvements or decisions.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to maintain constructive relationships while addressing difficult issues.
  • Comfortable working with dashboards, governed data, and technical teams to support AI-enabled assurance processes.
  • Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or multi-entity organisations is preferred. Gulf or wider MENA experience is an advantage.

AI Fluency – Essential

Demonstrated, practical use of AI as a core working tool is mandatory. Candidates must provide specific examples from their own professional experience, such as using AI to:

  • Verify reported progress against supporting documents and identify milestones marked complete without sufficient evidence.
  • Identify emerging risks or signs of business readiness issues through the analysis of project information and communications.
  • Prepare and review assurance reports, with every finding verified against the original source.
