To monitor the transportation network encompassing vehicle availability, manpower allocation and cool chain adherence ensuring quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Organize and execute all deliveries according to schedules
- Track, trace, and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Act as a point of contact for drivers, sales teams, and customer service regarding delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records of proof of delivery (POD)
- Managing all the reverse logistics activities
- Prepare all the relevant reports
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance
- Utilize systems to optimize routes and reduce transport costs and fuel waste.
- Schedule shifts, track attendance, and assign daily delivery routes to employees
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or fleet management, preferably within FMCG.
- Knowledge of local/regional transport regulations and routes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills
- Valid UAE driving license
