About the Role.
We are looking for a Transportation Controller to plan, coordinate, and manage local and international transportation activities with third-party transport providers, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries across the UAE and internationally.
- Plan and coordinate local and international transportation with third-party transport providers.
- Manage road transportation operations across the UAE in compliance with local regulations.
- Collect transportation proposals and negotiate with suppliers.
- Confirm required vehicle types with transport suppliers.
- Plan and schedule pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time execution.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations Team.
- Monitor transportation performance and resolve delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate transportation records and reports.
- Report regularly to the Logistics Operations Director.
Requirements & Qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in road transportation.
- Experience handling both local and international transportation.
- Strong knowledge of UAE road transport regulations.
- Experience working with third-party transporters and suppliers.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office experience.
