For Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a passionate Transportation Systems Integration Engineer (m/f/d).
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate integrationrelated technical submittals, interface control documents (ICDs), and system integration plans to ensure compliance with the D&B Contract and Employer Requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary system interfaces across signalling/ATC, telecoms, rolling stock, traction power, PSDs, depot systems, SCADA, and station systems to ensure complete endtoend functional integration.
- Support integration testing & commissioning activities, including subsystem integration tests, dynamic tests, system demonstrations, trial running, and readiness verification for automated operation.
- Participate in inspections, NCR reviews, integration issue tracking, and verification of corrective actions to ensure crosssystem compatibility and compliance.
- Assess integration risks, interface hazards, and interoperability challenges, ensuring mitigation measures are implemented and documented.
- Review and validate operational scenarios, degraded modes, emergency procedures, and system handshakes between disciplines to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Coordinate with PMCM teams, D&B Contractor disciplines, system suppliers, the O&M Entity, and Employer representatives to resolve interface issues and ensure alignment across contracts.
- Prepare integration reports, interface assessments, testing progress updates, and technical documentation supporting PMCM reporting and system assurance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field, with 12+ years of transitsystem integration experience
- Strong experience working with metro or rail transit systems, including signalling/ATC, telecoms, rolling stock interfaces, traction power, PSDs, SCADA, and station systems.
- Deep understanding of system integration principles, interface dependencies, control logic, operational requirements, and safety constraints for automated metro systems.
- Proven ability to review ICDs, engineering drawings, test plans, NCRs, RAMS analyses, hazard logs, and commissioning deliverables.
- Familiarity with RAMS principles, EN 50126/50129, safetycritical integration requirements, and UTO system architecture.
- Strong analytical skills to identify integration issues, evaluate technical risks, and propose engineering resolutions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills, essential for a multicontract, multidiscipline megaproject environment.
