Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Travel Demand Modeler, we'll count on you to:Develop, calibrate, and validate travel demand models in VISUMUse GIS for spatial data analysis and visualization Analyze and summarize data in Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports Analyze and interpret transportation data to support planning and decision-making processes Prepare detailed reports and presentations using MS Power Point, MS Word, and MS Excel Preferred Qualifications Degree in Transportation Engineering or Urban Planning or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Statistics or Data Science or Computer Science Minimum of 5 years of experience working with travel demand models, particularly VISUMStrong knowledge of GIS, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Word Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation abilities Fluency in Arabic is a plus Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field A minimum of 5 years experience in planning and design AICP certification desired Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs Extensive graphics and report document production experience Experience with GISStrong oral and written communication skills Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment May require the ability to travel An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
