Travel / Ticketing Consultant

Overview / Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Travel / Ticketing Consultant to join a growing travel services operation in Saudi Arabia. The role will manage flight reservations, ticketing, reissuance, refunds, itinerary changes, and customer travel requirements while ensuring accurate and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
• Recommend suitable routes, fares, schedules, and travel options based on customer requirements.
• Process ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and itinerary changes.
• Work efficiently with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo/Travelport.
• Apply airline fare rules and ticketing procedures accurately.
• Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers to resolve booking and ticketing issues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate reservation and customer records.
• Support hotel bookings and other travel arrangements when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting customer retention and business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in travel reservations and airline ticketing.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Industry exposure: Experience with a travel agency, Travel Management Company (TMC), airline, or corporate travel environment.
• Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo/Travelport, or another major GDS.
• Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticketing, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings.
• IATA or relevant travel/ticketing certification will be an advantage.
