Job Purpose:
To manage treasury and banking accounting operations efficiently by ensuring accurate recording of banking transactions, handling contractor payments, performing regular bank reconciliations, and managing online bank transfers to support the company's financial and project operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor daily bank accounts and record all banking transactions in the accounting system.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure balances match bank statements.
- Execute and monitor online bank transfers in accordance with company financial policies.
- Handle contractor payments and follow up on project-related disbursements.
- Review contracting files and project payment documents to ensure accuracy of financial settlements.
- Monitor company cash flow and prepare periodic treasury reports.
- Coordinate with banks regarding transfers, banking services, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports related to treasury and banking activities for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in treasury accounting or banking accounting.
- Strong experience in bank accounting and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in the construction/contracting sector, including contractor payments and project financial files.
- Experience with online banking systems and electronic fund transfers.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
