Job Purpose
The Treasury Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day treasury operations and accounts payable
functions within the organization. This includes monitoring and paying trade finance loans, preparing cash flow
forecasts, assist Accounts Manager in coordinating with banks across the UAE, handling vendor payments, ensuring
liquidity. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to build effective working
relationships with both internal teams and external financial institutions.
Role And Responsibilities
- Prepare and process Trade Finance documents and Bank Guarantees (BG).
- Monitor due dates of trade finance facilities and ensure timely settlement.
- Maintain accurate schedules of all trade finance facilities.
- Prepare accurate short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and highlight funding requirements.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely vendor payments in line with credit terms.
- Prepare payment runs (cheques, online transfers, TT, etc.).
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Monitor aging reports and prioritize payments based on business requirements.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and banking compliance.
- Support external and internal auditors with required treasury and accounts payable documentation.
Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in treasury/accounts payable, preferably in distribution or trading.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel advanced functions.
- Preferred knowledge of trade finance products and banking operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ensure accuracy in recording transactions
- Strong skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing critical activities as needed.
