Job Description

2. JOB PURPOSE:

  • Establish relation with other financial institutions, forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and funds available for investment. manage the liquidity risk, profit margin risk and FX exposure risk at company level. management on the liquidity of its short- and long-range planning. will ensure that traders are undertaking transactions within the pre-assigned limits and achieving the targets / budgets. Playing supervisory financial activities and will ensure that traders are undertaking transactions the targets / budgets. Introduce new products and new activities for better future direction of company.

Description

Policies & Procedures

  • Participates in the development of department policies and procedures and manage implementation to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
  • Adheres to Treasury policies and procedures.

liquidity & Strategy

  • Helps the Treasurer to manage the overall treasury balance sheet. Head of Treasury must supervise management of the day-to-day and strategic liquidity to ensure smooth operation of company and help company plan for strategic liquidity requirements.
  • Maximize Company's Profit through cash Management.
  • Helps the Treasurer to develop strategies, business for the Money Market and FX Unit which are in line with the Treasury Division's Policies and guidelines and the company overall strategies and directions.
  • Reviews and manages the company liquidity and funding position in coordination with the Treasurer.
  • Supervises quotation of the exchange rates to various company division departments, branches, customers, and other company.
  • Reviews the company exposure with foreign correspondent company.
  • Reviews the operational and financial results of the Unit and compares results against objectives and budgets.
  • Reviews the foreign currency revenue and profit margin revenues with Units and Treasurer.
  • Ensures that the objectives for subordinates are in line with the Treasury overall strategic directions and objectives.
  • Helps in determining overall liquidity strategy.

Risk Mitigation

  • Manage the FX exposure within the pre-assigned internal and regulatory limits.
  • Ensures that all outstanding deals are within the limits defined by the Treasury Division's Policies and the Treasury net open position is within the pre-assigned limits.
  • Ensures adequate controls are in place and operating effectively to mitigate the risks in treasury operations.
  • Comply with any regulatory and internal risk requirements.
  • Ensuring all the deals are done within the approved counterparties and within the assigned dealer and risk limits.

Relationship Management

  • Maintains counterparty relationships and introduce new to increase FX activity.
  • Keeps relationship with regulatory for better representation of company.
  • Maintaining and communicating the Banks and Capitals RM.

Reducing operational risk:-

  • Reduce operational risk by detecting duplicate and incorrect transactions on customer and Company and cash accounts
  • Reduce customer compline, to Ensure all transactions are reflected to their account and make sure all transaction correct.
  • Reduce the risk of Company account differences, customer accounts and balances of financial statements by ensuring that the branches and departments have authorized all transactions.

Profits & expenses: -

  • Preserve the rights of the Company by ensuring all the profit amount are added to the Company account on the due date from payments and operations.
  • Check the validity of the Company's profits from draft and transfer transactions.

Customer Claims: -

  • Maintaining customers and reputation of the Company through quick filing claims related to the unit.

Review & Verifications: -

  • Reconcile, verify, monitor, and manage settlement of Company accounts Ensure confirm receipt of documents from them and call for any settlement issues immediately.

  • Review and analyse all reports submitted by employees and send comments to Department manager.
  • Review and verify all Company products until production release.

Continuous Improvement: -

  • Oversee enhancement of technical working system such as SAMA supporting the payments and receipts functionality simultaneously collaborating with technical staff to for improvement.
  • Oversee and manage compliance with regulatory bodies (SAMA, CMA)
  • Apply All AML policy related measures and produce preventive results contributing to further transparency.
  • Control different accounts i.e., Dormant, Static, and Internal ones to eradicate any blockages erupting in the system channel.
  • Control the outstanding positions in the unit and ensure proper follow-up is made with an escalation procedure followed by the unit team.

Liaising & Reporting: -

  • Raise and submit reports to higher management as and when required.
  • Collaborate with IT and other technical departments on technical issues as per need.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as per the management policies.
  • Co-operate with the Finance, Audit & Credit department on all revenue and payment issues.

Human Resources: -

  • Execute complete authority on Unit staff and demand reports reflecting periodical statements on a regular basis.
  • Set goals and targets for achievements leading to overall staff performance improvement.

  • Conduct timely coaching and training for staff resulting in development and enhancement of skills.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant major.

EXPERIENCE

  • Team Leader 4-6 years in relevant fields.

SKILLS

  • Should be able to apply generally accepted standards and market ethics applicable to the company industry in the Kingdom. He should also be familiar with SAMA regulations and guidelines and other external agencies regulations, as applicable to the corporate activities of the company.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Computer background
  • Adequate level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral
