The Trouble Shooter attends and solves all breakdowns and call backs on his route. He has at least 150 units under maintenance in his area of responsibility. Furthermore, he provides training and assistance to technicians.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company
- Receive, use and maintain his Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Receive, use and maintain his tools
- Corrective Maintenance activities
- Repairs and spare parts replacements as required
- Analyse, prepare and execute action plans and reduce the entrapment cases / breakdowns / call-backs on his run
- Evaluate and accordingly train the team members
- Identify 2/7 or 3/30 breakdown units, develop & execute action plans or assign technicians to implement action plans and reduce repeated breakdowns
- Conduct take over Inspections on new units
- Conduct quality inspections on the third party equipment
- Assign service technicians to respective job sites for PPM, Repairs & Call Backs
- Fill and submit check list or reports pertaining to the activities
- Conduct safety and quality inspections on the equipment as and when required
- Report to Service Engineer/Service Manager/Management any abnormalities detected
- Attend committee meetings
- Coordinate with ITS as required
- Coordinate with PM Team to develop a proactive approach to reduce breakdowns
- Coordinate with vendors for fabrication or other outsource requirement
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience:
- Mechanical / Electrical Diploma Holder.
- 6 years as Maintenance Supervisor/ Trouble Shooter/ Technician-3 (Elevator and Escalator Background. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance)
- Knowledge/skills:
- Decision-making skills
- English; Tagalog, Hindi/Urdu
