We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead our Human Resources operations in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives while fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment. You will manage the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and adherence to UAE Labor Law.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all people-related matters, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, engagement) to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all levels, from blue-collar staff to senior management.
- Develop strong sourcing strategies to attract top talent locally and internationally, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Liaise with PRO (Public Relations Officer)/Government Relations team to ensure all visa processes, quotas, and immigration requirements are met efficiently.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law, Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) regulations, and local RAK government requirements.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook in line with legal updates.
4. Performance Management & Development
- Drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Identify training needs across the organization and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
5. Compensation, Benefits & Operations
- Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits (insurance, leaves, end-of-service benefits).
- Ensure accurate maintenance of personnel files, leave records, and the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
6. Emiratisation & Culture
- Support the company's Emiratisation strategy by identifying opportunities and managing relationships with local entities like RAKTA (Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority) or RAK Chamber.
- Champion company culture, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CIPD/MCIPD certification is a strong advantage).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE.
- Proven experience working in Ras Al Khaimah or a strong understanding of the Northern Emirates business landscape is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep knowledge of UAE Labor Law and local RAK government procedures (MOHRE, Tawteen, Immigration).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a distinct advantage).
- Demonstrated experience managing a multi-cultural workforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
