The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience. They carry out a variety of operational duties as delegated by the store management team, including maintaining store cleanliness and visual presentation standards. A key focus is on creating a welcoming environment and providing excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
Customer Service
Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code
Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business like greeting
Provides customers with current relevant information about the product
Provides quality service in the fitting rooms, follows up with customers in a timely manner
Sales and Checkout
Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and captures customer information in the database
Attempts to add on to the sale by recommending complementary products
Sincerely thanks all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invites them back
Store Maintenance
Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness
Maintains cash wrap cleanliness
Assists in housekeeping duties as assigned by the store management team

What Qualifies You For The Role:
High School Degree
1-2 years of retail sales experience
Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop to create visuals and plans
