Job Description

Hello World, We are hiring!

We empower our people to stay resilient and relevant in a constantly changing world. We're looking for people who are always searching for creative ways to grow and learn. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future.

Does that sound like you Then it seems like you'd make a great addition to our vibrant team.

Siemens Software, a business unit of the Siemens Digital Industries, is a leading global provider of software solutions to drive the digital transformation of industry, creating new opportunities for manufacturers to realize innovation.

What you will be doing:

We're looking for a Front-End UI/UX Engineering Lead to help shape our Enterprise Physics AI solution — a product that gives customers complete workflow around physics AI models. As UI Lead, you'll own the front end of this product, working at the intersection of engineering, product management, and design — partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to translate ambitious ideas into an intuitive, high-performing user experience. It's a rare opportunity to combine hands-on technical leadership with real influence over the UI/UX direction of a product still being defined, and to see your team's work shape and what customers experience from day one.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of front-end/UI/UX engineers
  • Architect and oversee the development of responsive, scalable, user-friendly UI components using React

(primary), TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular where applicable.

  • Own front-end technical architecture and design decisions, ensuring alignment with overall product and

engineering strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, Product Managers, and backend teams to translate business

requirements into technical solutions.

  • Define and enforce code review standards and best practices to ensure high code quality across the team.
  • Lead and facilitate Agile/Kanban ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) for the front-end

team.

  • Manage sprint planning, task estimation, and prioritization in coordination with Product Owners.
  • Champion user testing initiatives and ensure feedback loops are incorporated into product iterations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for front-end technical discussions with business stakeholders and partners.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and architectural risks.
  • Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing strategies, component libraries/design

systems, and state management patterns.

  • Contribute hands-on to development when needed, setting the technical example for the team.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of front-end engineers.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other related discipline
  • Extensive demonstrable experience in front-end/UI software development, including experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
  • Deep expertise in React (primary framework), with working knowledge of Angular or other modern front-end

frameworks.

  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture patterns.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing state management solutions (Redux, Context API, NgRx, etc.),

lazy loading, performance optimization, and scalable component architectures.

  • Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Application development, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proven experience with version control systems (Git), Agile tooling (JIRA, Confluence), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and setting

technical direction.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with and influence business partners, stakeholders,

and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments, including sprint planning and estimation.
