Role Description The UI/UX Instructor role at SYEMEN CAREERS is a full-time, remotely
The instructor will design and deliver interactive classes and workshops covering UI and UX fundamentals, visual design, prototyping, and user-centered design processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, creating assignments and practical projects, guiding learners through design tools and methodologies, and providing detailed feedback on their work. The instructor will mentor learners, support portfolio development, and stay current with UI/UX trends and best practices to keep course content relevant. Collaboration with the training team to improve curricula and participate in assessments and evaluations is also part of the role.
Qualifications
Strong practical knowledge of UI/UX design principles and processes.
Professional experience working as a UI/UX designer. Experience teaching, training, mentoring, or explaining technical/design concepts to beginners.
Requirements
Ability to create educational content, including presentations, exercises, assignments, and project-based learning materials.
Hands-on experience with Figma and other common UI/UX design tools.
Understanding of current UI/UX industry trends and best practices.
Experience teaching or mentoring high-school or university students, or creating online courses, educational videos, or social media learning content.
Strong skills in Mockups and Visual Design, with the ability to teach layout, typography, color theory, and design systems.
Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-focused mindset.
A relevant academic background or professional certification in UI/UX design, human-computer interaction, or a relatedfield is preferred.
