About the Role
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Lead to drive the design strategy and user experience across our digital banking products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design process, mentoring designers, and ensuring the delivery of intuitive, scalable, and user-centric digital experiences.
This role will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into seamless and visually engaging user experiences.
Expertise in Figma is required.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead and mentor the UI/UX design team.
- Define and maintain the overall design strategy and UX standards across products.
- Ensure consistency in design systems and component libraries.
Product Design
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
- Translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Ensure a consistent UX across web and mobile platforms.
Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Facilitate design workshops and collaborative sessions.
- Communicate design decisions effectively across teams.
User Research & Testing
- Conduct usability testing and user research.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to improve product experiences.
- Continuously iterate designs based on insights and product metrics.
Design System & Quality
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems.
- Ensure design quality and usability standards across all digital products.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 610+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- At least 23 years leading design initiatives or mentoring designers
Design Skills
- Advanced experience with Figma
- Strong expertise in:
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Interaction design
- Design systems
- Responsive design
Technical Understanding
- Strong understanding of frontend implementation principles
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams
Professional Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead design discussions and present solutions to leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing digital banking or fintech products
- Familiarity with mobile-first design principles
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Experience building and scaling design systems
