Ma'aden Barrick Copper Company (MBCC) is seeking to recruit for Contract-based Employment under MBCC Contractor on site a Underground Trainer/Assessor and grow the team.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the site management team to continuously improve the safety, environmental and quality culture of the site.
- Ensure Contractor and associated personnel are trained and assessed to meet the Contractor RTO and industry competency requirements.
- Ensure that the responsibilities of all employees are clearly communicated and that they are managed according to their responsibilities.
- Assist in the effective management of the Contractor injury management system at the site.
- Assist in the development of the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees and associated personnel in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to the site for the resolution of safety or environmental issues.
- Champion the consistent promotion of organizational policies, procedures and objectives and comply with organizational safety reporting requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
- Adhere to the requirements of the project safety training, quality and environmental management plans.
- Train and assess the Contractor employees and associated personnel to comply with the requirements of the safety training, quality and environmental management plans.
- Complete safety and competency assessment documentation and records to comply with the requirements of the Contractor RTO and the INX safety management system at the site.
- Assist in investigations into all Contractor and associated personnel incidents at the site.
- Assist with injury management at site to ensure successful injury management outcomes.
- Assist in risk assessments and site specific procedures development.
- Assist in the completion of site specific safety training, quality or environmental requirements.
- Assist and train safety representatives in their roles.
- Communicate safety and environmental information to site employees and associated personnel.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Effective communication skills in English (100% proficiency).
- Adhere to the requirements of the project safety training, quality and environmental management plans.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct or assist in incident investigations and job hazard analysis (JHA).
- Competency in health and safety compliance monitoring in challenging underground environments.
