We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant/Processor to support the Assistant Vice President - Technical in underwriting activities and coordinating with insurers in Kuwait.
Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting support activities such as processing policies on the system, entering quotes on the system, creating quote comparisons on the system and requesting quotes from insurers.
- Undertake all data input for policies written.
- Maintain information on enquiries received.
- Ensure that all filing and administration on risks and policies is complete and professional.
- Demonstrate ability to liaise with insurers.
- Effectively plan and organize workload in order to meet business timescales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years General Insurance underwriting experience, 5 years is a plus.
- Understanding of FGA Insurance terminology and risk factors
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in English, Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong MS Office skills
