Underwriting Officer/Sr. Officer (P&C)

Job Description:

• Servicing existing corporate customers of QIC Group for Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident insurance products.
• Underwrite good quality risks within the authority limit specified in the Operations Manual.
• Determine insurance premiums, extent of insurance coverage and other conditions of the insurance contract.
• Assessment of risks and releasing quotations in line with the Company's underwriting guidelines and reinsurance arrangement.
• Negotiate on premium and policy terms with Clients and Insurance Brokers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in handling underwriting of corporate accounts for Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Good underwriting technical & marketing skills
• Good knowledge of Insurance Products & Services
• Good problem-solving and negotiating skills
• Excellent communication skill
