Egybell is hiring a Unit Manager for a well-known insurance brokerage.
Job purpose
responsible for the annual sales plan. Main link between the top management and the sales team, Responsible on enlarging the sales force as well as building company's brand equity.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify and target new business opportunities in life, medical, motor, and general insurance lines.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales managers, brokers, and account executives to achieve targets.
- Set clear performance metrics, KPIs, and commission structures.
- Expand the client base through networking, partnerships, and market penetration initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Negotiate and finalize key accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers, underwriters, and partners.
- Ensure the brokerage's portfolio is diversified and competitive.
- Oversee renewals, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives to maximize client retention and revenue
- Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts.
- Track sales performance and ensure profitability across products and segments.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance, claims handling, and client servicing.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer focus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Insurance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales, with experience in a Supervisory/leadership role within a brokerage or insurance company.
- Excellent in English
- Strong knowledge of insurance products (life, medical, motor, and general lines).
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and insurance market trends.
