Role
NEOM is seeking an experienced professional with a technical urban planning and digital background, inter alia in a Planning Authority environment. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing (ensuring compliance) of approved Land Use Plans and Master Plans as well as the development of NEOM planning documents, policies, design guidelines, scope of works, compliance reports, review reports etc. The candidate will also be responsible for compliance management and data control of Land Use Planning and Master Planning documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical input and leadership in the development, implementation maintenance and upgrading of the Planning Department digital tools
- Compliance management of approved detailed Land Use Plans and Master Plans
- Review and comment of incoming precinct plans and plot designs
- Provide technical advice in the regular updating of Land Use Plans and Master Plans
- Technical advice and assistance to NEOM Companies and Sectors for Land Use and Master Planning related questions
- Manage consultants in master plan amendments
- Lead establishment and implementation of data management for approved master plans
- Being a champion of supporting and improving NEOM-Wide awareness of available NEOM planning tools and guidelines
- Report to Land Use Planning and Master Planning Project Management team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in urban planning/Master Planning/Urban Design
- 4 6 years of experience in master planning/urban planning projects, inter alia in a Planning Authority environment
