Workshop FAT Engineer – Immediate Joiners

Role Summary
We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to support the integration, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of industrial automation systems. This is a workshop-based role working closely with the Lead Engineer and back-office engineering team to ensure systems are fully tested and compliant before delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform panel integration, internal testing, and validation before customer FAT.
- Execute and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Perform I/O checks, loop checks, functional testing, alarm verification, and communication testing.
- Verify PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS configurations against project requirements.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.
- Prepare FAT documentation, test reports, and punch lists.
- Participate in customer FAT sessions and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, or System Integration.
- Hands-on experience with ABB 800xA / AC800M (or equivalent) and Honeywell Control Systems.
- Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, and OPC.
- Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), panel testing, loop checking, and control system integration.
