The RoleWe are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who lives at the intersection of game mechanics and player psychology. You aren't just making buttons look good; you are designing the flow of a digital community where millions of players compete, socialize, and bond.
As a Senior member of the team, you will act as a bridge between game design and user-centered product design. You will be responsible for ensuring that every hand dealt and every GG sent is part of a seamless, high-performance experience.
What You'll Do- Design for Competitive Flow: Create intuitive interfaces for complex card and board games, ensuring players can focus on their strategy without the UI getting in the way.
- Think Like a Game Designer: Evaluate features not just for usability, but for fun. You'll help define meta-progression, reward systems, and social loops.
- Mentor & Scale: Support the design team's growth by providing constructive feedback, establishing best practices, and elevating our shared design language.
- Iterate & Adapt: Embrace a fast-paced environment where workflows evolve. You'll be at the forefront of adopting new tools (like AI-assisted workflows or advanced prototyping) to keep us ahead.
- Sweat the Small Stuff: Ensure pixel-perfect execution and organizational excellence. From micro-interactions to deep-nested menus, your files and your designs will be flawless.
What We're Looking For- A UX Architect with a Gamer's Soul: You have a proven track record in game UI/UX. You understand why a player clicks where they do and how to influence behavior through visual hierarchy.
- A Lifelong Learner: You don't stick to the way it's always been done. You are eager to learn new software, experiment with different pipelines, and pivot when the data suggests a better path.
- An Expert Communicator: You can articulate the why behind your design decisions to developers, product managers, and stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
- Detail-Obsessed: You notice the 1px misalignment that others miss. You take pride in well-organized design systems and documentation.
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically within the mobile gaming industry.
- Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and prototyping software.
- Experience with social UX (chat systems, friend lists, gifting) and monetization UI (stores, battle passes).
- A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of mobile-first ergonomics and game-specific navigation.
