Job Purpose
The Temperature Validation Officer is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining validation activities related to temperature-controlled storage, distribution, and equipment. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Good Storage Practice (GSP) to safeguard product quality and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute temperature mapping and qualification protocols for warehouses, refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, vehicles, and transport containers.
- Validate monitoring systems (sensors, probes, data loggers, and software).
- Monitor and assess temperature data to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Analyze deviations, trends, and excursions; recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure calibration of temperature monitoring instruments and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments for temperature-controlled systems.
- Prepare, review, and maintain validation documentation, reports, and protocols.
- Support audits and inspections by providing accurate validation records.
Work Location & Mobility
- The role will initially require temporary work in Jeddah, after which the position will be based in Riyadh.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Sciences).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with temperature mapping, qualification, and calibration equipment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple validation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in common software applications and dashboard reporting tools.
- Proficiency in English & working knowledge of Arabic (preferred)
