Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Valuer to support the delivery of commercial valuation assignments. The role involves undertaking inspections, gathering market data, preparing valuation inputs, and assisting with report drafting under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities
Valuation Support & Delivery
- Assist in preparing commercial valuation reports in accordance with RICS standards and internal procedures.
- Conduct property inspections and gather relevant market data and comparable evidence.
- Undertake financial analysis and valuation modelling under the supervision of a Senior Valuer or Associate Partner.
- Maintain accurate and organised file records, including supporting documentation and market evidence.
- Ensure all data inputs are accurate, up-to-date, and properly referenced within valuation files.
Market Research & Analysis
- Collect market information, transaction data, and property details to support valuation assignments.
- Maintain awareness of current market trends, property news, and economic factors relevant to the valuation process.
- Liaise with the research and consultancy teams to ensure consistency of data and insights.
Client Interaction & Professional Conduct
- Communicate professionally with clients when arranging inspections or requesting information.
- Provide timely responses to internal and external enquiries.
- Represent the firm professionally during site visits, meetings, and industry events where required.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and uphold the firm's professional standards.
Collaboration & Internal Support
- Work closely with Senior Valuers, Managers, and Associate Partners on valuation projects.
- Support junior analysts and interns where necessary, particularly in data gathering or administrative tasks.
- Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and the development of valuation templates or processes.
Quality, Compliance & CPD
- Follow Knight Frank Best Practice, compliance procedures, and internal valuation protocols.
- Meet deadlines consistently, demonstrating strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required by the RICS.
- Uphold internal policies regarding document storage, file management, and operational standards.
Additional Duties
- Assist with pitches or background research for new business opportunities when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks to support the valuation team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in real estate or a RICS-accredited field preferred.
- 1-3 years commercial valuation or real estate experience (UAE market experience advantageous).
- Progressing toward MRICS and/or RICS Registered Valuer status (preferred but not mandatory at entry level).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft well-structured content with supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, or Estate Master is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages advantageous.
- Willingness to travel for inspections and client meetings.
