Job Description
Looking for an experienced Telecommunications VAS Engineer to join our team and support VAS ADM operations and development activities
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain SMSC, MMSC, USSD Gateways, SMS Routers & Firewalls.
Monitor and troubleshoot VAS core services, messaging platforms, and signaling traffic.
Analyze SS7, SIGTRAN (M3UA), MAP, SMPP, MM4/MM7, and MAP/CAP traffic.
Manage NTP/SNTP servers and network time synchronization.
Perform packet analysis using Wireshark / tshark.
Support RHEL/Linux administration and database operations.
Investigate service incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of VAS platforms.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience in VAS Core Operations, messaging architectures, network synchronization, and signaling.
Needed knowledge:
SS7 & SIGTRAN (M3UA) / MAP & CAP / SMPP / MM4 / MM7 /NTP/SNTP
Practical experience with SMSC, MMSC, USSD, SMS Routers/Firewalls.
Hands-on experience with Wireshark/tshark for packet and signaling analysis.
Good knowledge of RHEL/Linux administration and databases.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
