Job Description

Manage BIM team in different projects, Business units or Mega projects to virtually construct,

accurately visualize, simulate the construction and produce BIM models that fits in various phases

such as business development, tender, Engineering and operation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the implementation of BIM standards and procedures and ensure its proper followed to

improve the efficiency of BIM modeling.

Manage the process of virtual construction (VDC) by BIM team

(modeling and documentation tasks).

Manage the BIM consultant's engagement, manage the relation between the BIM sub-

consultant and the company departments.

Direct and manage IPD/VDC/BIM team in performing their delegated tasks linked to the Project

Controls department policies and procedures.

Cooperate with business development, estimation team, Cost team and project Directors/

managers in different project phases to agree on BIM/Revit standards implemented to meet the

corporate and client requirements.

Audit & Highlight issues, conflicts in BIM design and propose resolutions accordingly.

Manage consolidation of BIM Models to produce 4D Model for the projects.

Ensure linkage between BIM/Revit, Primavera Enterprise software and cost management

software to visualize the projects status in terms of time and cost.

Audit & ensure the generation of different levels of reports in terms of cost, schedules, and

documents of the projects under his responsibility.

Audit the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of BIM Model staff are in

accordance with the department's policies and procedures.

Manage BIM model staff in performing their delegated tasks linked to the Project Controls

department policies and procedures.

Audit & Support the training of new BIM model staff to ensure their ability to handle their

responsibilities in effective and professional manner.

Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and

environmental aspects.

Handles related special assignments if required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Professional Certification: Post graduate studies and/ or professional certificates in management

Work Experience: 12 - 15 years of related experience

Language: Arabic and English (Toefl 550 or equivalent)

Computer Skills: MS Office, BIM Software and Primavera
