VDC/ BIM Senior Engineer - Electrical

JOB PURPOSE:

Review and generate BIM / Revit Architectural, structural, or MEP models produced for the company

projects based on the provided information from consultant and to ensure meeting the client

requirements and achieve efficiency in managing the projects in terms of schedules and cost.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collect the project data from consultant or tender department to ensure issuing the BIM model

for the projects including all the project specifications to identify quantity of materials and time

schedule.

Review BIM models to create BIM architectural, structural, and MEP models.

Coordinate with Estimating department in tender phase and project managers in construction

phase of the projects to ensure implementation of BIM standards to meet the client

requirements.

Review and consolidate BIM Models to produce 4D Model for the projects.

Link between BIM/Revit and Primavera Enterprise software to visualize the projects status in

terms of time and cost.

Maintain and configure the different models to ensure the model integrity is maintained to suit

the project BIM execution plan and associated BIM requirements.

Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of BIM Model and junior

model engineers are in accordance with the department's policies and procedures.

Train and support new BIM model Engineers to ensure their ability to handle their

responsibilities in effective and professional manner.

Recommend in establishing the training needs for the project controls staff in his projects and

track trainings and coaching.

Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and

environmental aspects.

Handles related special assignments if required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Professional Certification: REVIT

Work Experience: 5 - 7 years of related experience

Language: Arabic and English(Toefl 500 or equivalent)

Computer Skills: MS Office, BIM software and Primavera
