Purpose Of The Position
As
Vendor Coordinator, you will respond/report to the
Lead / Manager and be part of
Commissioning Department within the
COMP2 Project.
How can you support us Here are below your responsibilities:
Vendor Coordination & Site Execution
- Coordinate vendor mobilization, call-outs, and site activities in line with commissioning schedule.
- Act as the single point of contact between vendors, Commissioning Engineers, Construction, and QA/QC teams.
- Ensure vendor presence during FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and system start-up.
Planning & Interface Management
- Align vendor schedules with system/subsystem priorities and commissioning sequence.
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams for technical clarifications and vendor deliverables tracking.
- Monitor vendor readiness including documentation, manpower, tools, and consumables.
Documentation & Compliance
- Verify vendor documentation such as:
- Test procedures
- Calibration certificates
- Vendor manuals and data sheets
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE, and quality standards.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track vendor performance vs schedule and escalate delays proactively.
- Maintain logs for:
- Vendor attendance
- Testing progress
- Outstanding punch items
- Support commissioning team in preparing daily/weekly reports.
Commercial & Administrative Support
- Support vendor-related processes including:
- Timesheets / service reports validation
- Invoice coordination
- Budget tracking for vendor activities
Issue Resolution
- Identify and resolve:
- Technical gaps between vendor packages and site conditions
- Interface conflicts between disciplines
- Coordinate corrective actions until closure.
What are we looking for
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation preferred)
Experience
- 2–7+ years experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Commissioning / Pre-commissioning activities
- Vendor coordination during SAT / start-up / troubleshooting
- Familiarity with:
- EPC workflows and handover stages (MC → Commissioning → Start-up)
- Multi-discipline coordination (E&I, Mechanical, Process)
